Cleaning, disinfection and preventive inspection:
- Cleaning: Wipe the components with a sponge or cloth soaked in 0.1% Teepol cleaning solution, then rinse with clean water and wipe dry.
- Disinfection: The components must be cleaned according to the cleaning procedures described above. Then wipe with a sponge or cloth soaked in 75% industrial denatured alcohol solution.
- Sterilization: Before carrying out any sterilization process, you must remove any carbonization from the electrode and replace the electrode within the electrosurgical pencil socket.
- Steam high temperature and high pressure: Set temperature to 132°C for 20 minutes.
